This kind statement is vital to letting your customers know who you are and why you do what you do. No one likes talking about themselves, but being able to express that you’re the best at what you do, is key.
Step One: What’s the problem you’re trying to solve? There has to have been a problem that you knew you could fix! You started your business for a reason and this is your chance to tell your customers why.
Step Two: Toot. Your. Own. Horn. Yes, you heard that correctly. You have to tell your audience why they should hire you, by touting your success and knowledge. You have to express why you’re different than the rest and why your customers are in good hands.
Step Three: This is where you’re going to give your potential customers examples of successful business. What have you done to innovate your industry? What’s the new and great idea that you had that sets you apart?
Step Four: Be yourself. Potential customers are going to know if you aren’t being genuine. When you’re not faking it, they’ll better relate to you and your product.
Step Five: How are you doing good within your community or industry? Do you give back, donate to charity, or maybe you offer your services at a discount for people who meet a criteria. This is the part of your mission statement where you can outline how you do good and why hiring you isn’t just about business, it’s about community and supporting each other.
